Moving teams toward social-first, branded content for Google
Corporate social platforms always strike a fine balance between clearly representing the brand, and being engaging and playful enough to do well on social platforms. I was hired by ASG to provide creative direction on behalf of Google to the Google developer suite of social accounts. (Ex: Firebase, Flutter, Tensorflow, Google for Developers). I work in tandem with the social team to help ideate and articulate new creative ideas, ensure consistency across agencies and of brand, and to find ways to make recurring series/posts more engaging for a social audience. I’ve been tasked with pushing the envelope in how the corporation appears on the developer social channels, finding new ways to represent traditional marketing content.
Below you’ll find some of my recent initiatives as Associate Creative Director and can view examples of how this direction came to life.

Social Guidelines and Tools
Another project of note, I created a suite of new materials to help support the social team in posting beautiful, on-brand, materials at scale. These cannot be shared because they are not publicly available content. But I have made brand social guidelines, full libraries of Canva-based templates, photo collection guidelines, and social type treatments in collaboration with our brand team. The end goal was (and is) to enable fast, on-brand posting for the social team.
