Well, If the Holidays weren’t enough on my plate there’s been an exciting new development in the world of Foodie By Night. I’m moving to San Francisco! Remember that Dream Jobs post on Chronicle Books? I’ve just been offered a Digital Publishing Fellowship there! So the puppah and I will be packing up and trekking to the other side of the country right after Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas- Let’s get to that gift guide!
Gift Guide: Foodies.
1. Eat Boutique Cocktail Gift Box $69– This gift box is perfect for the cocktail lover in your life. In it you’ll find Coffee Syrup (also delicious on ice cream or in brownies), Preserved Lemon Syrup, Flavored Salts, Coasters, Bitters, Grenadine and a tiny whisk to whip that cocktail to perfection. The contents of this particular box do change occasionally to fit the season but rest assured, Maggie at EatBoutique knows how to make a decadent and delicious gift box. On the website you’ll also find gift boxes for Coffee lovers, Brides, and Breakfast.
3. Felt Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup $50- Adorable no? You can find these smiling foods and more in the whimsical shop of SteffBomb on Etsy. I got The mustard covered pretzel from her at Renegade Craft Fair this year and can’t help smiling every time I look at it.
4. Fred and Friends Cakewich $23- For those who want to make fabulous cakes without all the hassle. This sandwich-shaped cake mold makes fun and funny desserts every time. Simply cut your cake in half, fill the center and voila! sandwich cake.
6. Nesting Spice Cellars in Blue $45- These gorgeous hand thrown spice cellars are a great addition to any kitchen. You can also get them in red, green (lime), coral, and yellow. I’m also a huge fan of RossLab‘s Heart Bowls.
